Mental Health Awareness Week 2025

Mental Health Awareness Week runs from 12th – 18th May, and this year’s theme set by the national Mental Health Foundation highlights the importance of community.

Being part of a safe, positive community is important for our mental health. We thrive when we have strong connections with others and supportive networks that remind us we are not alone. Communities can offer a sense of belonging, safety and purpose – as well as strength during difficult times.

The Rushcliffe Social Prescribing service offer community support and connection to adults aged 18+ who are registered with a Rushcliffe GP Surgery. There are many local activities and services available to support your wellbeing.
